Law

The Law study programme is designed for the training of specialists in the field of “Law”, with a focus on solving problems both within the branches of private law (civil, commercial, labour, intellectual property, etc.) and of public law (financial, fiscal, criminal, etc.). Upon completion, the graduate is competent to collect data and information on a concrete issue, interpret normative acts and solve practical problems, draw up judgments based on the knowledge of legal issues, etc.

The programme offers the possibility of educating young people in a legal and economic spirit so that students and graduates can easily integrate into the world of work, and can apply for various international internships (internships at international legal consultancy companies, internships within the EU institutions). ASEM graduates have the advantage of being able to integrate easily not only within legal structures but also into financial institutions, public authorities’ administration, etc.

The continuation of the studies is ensured through the Master’s programmes: Economic Law, Business Law, Financial-Fiscal Law, Law and Customs Procedures.

The graduates of the programme can be employed as lawyers / legal consultants; magistrates, clerks, judicial assistants; police inspectors, lawyers, notaries based on the license; members of the specialized bodies on the settlement of economic disputes; investigation officers (Ministry of Internal Affairs -MIA, Security and Intelligence Service -SIS); paralegals.

Graduates can continue their studies in the second cycle of higher education – the Master’s degree.
